Evan Buliung is an award winning actor, who has appeared on countless stages across Canada, and screens alike. Most recently you can see him in Clement Virgo’s feature film BROTHER, Under The Banner of Heaven (FX Productions), leading the Television series HOLLY HOBBIE (Hulu/Family Channel Canada), and featured in DEPARTURE (Global). A regular company member of both the Stratford Festival and Shaw Festival, favourite roles include; Sky Masterson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Mercutio in ROMEO AND JULIET, Pericles in THE ADVENTURES OF PERICLES, Petruchio in TAMING OF THE SHREW, Titania in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Jack Worthing in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, Stanhope in JOURNEY’S END amongst others.
Elsewhere across the country, he’s starred in DEAR EVAN HANSEN as Larry Murphy, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER as Black Stache, THE AUDIENCE opposite Fiona Reid as John Major and LONG DAY’S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT for Soulpepper. His musical theatre credits include, FUN HOME, for which he won a Dora award for best performance, WE WILL ROCK YOU, LORD OF THE RINGS for the Mirvish Enterprises in Toronto. As well he’s performed Shakespeare in both Chicago and New York. He’s also been in numerous video games for Ubisoft including ASSASSIN’S CREED and the FAR CRY series.
