Bio
Lila Claghorn is writer, producer and performer. As a writer, Lila has a diverse slate of projects in development for both television and film. Select TV projects of note include half-hour comedy Inconceivable exploring women’s fertility and the drug trade, animated series The Randimals with Jack McBrayer (30 Rock, The Kindness Show) and the Emmy winning team at Chemically Altered, and Shelter an hour-long drama with Mariska Hargitay (EP) and Universal Television based on Larissa MacFarquhar’s acclaimed The New Yorker expose. In the feature space, select projects include the women’s ice hockey drama Breakout with Nicol Paone (Friendsgiving) and co-writer Celey Schumer and Hotline with Susie Talbott (Black Widow) and Broadway’s Luke Katler (Potus; Slave Play) with Rosa Salazar set to star (Maze Runner, Bird Box). Additionally, Lila continues to develop an hour-long procedural with Ileen Maisel (20th Television) and showrunner Michael Chernuchin (Law & Order) based on the Palm Beach mystery book series by Tom Turner. As a performer, Lila has voiced over 20 characters for R.L. Stine’s Story Club and children’s podcast GoKidGo (HappyNest/Stampede Ventures), and is currently the voice of several international brands including Ford and Hulu. On screen, she has worked on projects for ABC, CBS, Youtube, Gravitas Ventures and Universal. She continues to perform at comedy landmarks including The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory and The Comedy Cellar. Lila completed her undergraduate work at Trinity College. She lives and works in both Los Angeles and New York.
