JEN POGUE (she/her) is a Canadian Screen Award-winning creator, host, actor, producer, and writer with a passion for stories and connection—both on camera and behind the scenes.
Her recent on-screen credits include Ghostwriter (Apple TV), I Woke Up a Vampire (Netflix), Hudson & Rex (CTV), and Endlings (CBC). Behind the camera, Jen has contributed to dozens of short- and long-form projects through Filmcoop Inc., an all-female production collective whose films have premiered at major festivals including TIFF, Palm Springs, Raindance, and Whistler. Filmcoop’s work is currently streaming across Crave, CBC Gem, Prime Video, Apple TV, Highball TV, Super Channel, and more.
Jen is alumni of the 2024 TIFF Television Accelerator Lab for Ashleigh Rains’ drama PRIME, currently in development. She is the co-creator and co-host of the award-nominated podcast Women on Screen Out Loud alongside Lara Jean Chorostecki, and serves as Director of Industry at the Canadian Film Fest, where she curates conversations and events that support and amplify Canadian talent.
Through her company JPO & Co. Entertainment Inc., Jen created, showruns, and hosts County Blooms, a lifestyle docuseries celebrating floristry and local makers across Canada. The series airs nationwide on Bell Fibe TV1 and is set to launch its second season in spring of 2025. The show earned Jen the 2024 Canadian Screen Award for Best Host of a Web Program or Series.
In 2021, Jen was diagnosed with de novo Stage IV triple-negative breast cancer. Following two years on a groundbreaking clinical trial, she returned to her work with a renewed commitment to storytelling as advocacy. She now serves as a Key Collaborator, Patient Advocate, and Consultant with Rethink Breast Cancer, using her voice to bridge the gap between research and the patient experience.
Jen brings resilience, warmth, and a collaborative spirit to every project. With roots in performance and a creative home in both scripted and unscripted work, she’s committed to building stories that are rooted in heart, shaped by authenticity, and told with intention—while creating space for bold, inclusive voices to bloom.
